We asked several Hawkes Bay plumbers to install a Marshall boiler to heat all the hot water and drive 14 new radiators to be put into our family farm homestead built in the 1920’s. The sheer complexity and/or the extreme difficulty, not to mention unpleasantness, of the job put most off even quoting. A couple of firms we decided not to engage as their quotes were ridiculously high.
Then we found Paul.
With the job now virtually complete I cannot recommend Paul highly enough. He never gilded the lily, suggesting parts of the job would be anything other than they were…hard and nasty work. There’s nothing nice about spending hours crawling, scrabbling and tunnelling beneath a suspended solid concrete floor with just six or eight inches of space above you to install copper pipelines. It must have felt like crawling through a sewer at times for Paul. But he was unfailingly cheerful and never cut corners, recognising we wanted the job to look good, not just work properly.
This was a big, complex, domestic plumbing project and we are relieved and thankful we engaged Paul to do it. He’s been exceptional. I’d be happy to reiterate this to anyone considering hiring him and can be contacted on 0272176443.

Paul has done all the plumbing associated with a new kitchen plus replaced roof flashings & cleaned out 2 water tanks. He’s provided a amazing service fitting in with other trades often at short notice. He’s worked all hours of the day including weekends to make sure his work has been completed on time.
